Behind the Scenes
We took the Mortal Kombat 9 PS Vita engine and optimized and improved it. We enhanced shaders and materials so that we could use the same lighting model as the PS4. We also managed and controlled the art reduction to bring the game in at 60 frames per second while retaining graphics detail.
